Ever thought of working with Local Councils and the Police in driving down crime and disorder in your town? Interested? We are looking for Casual CCTV Operators to work in Newquay Town Council’s CCTV Service based in Newquay.
The main duties are: – To monitor CCTV images captured by the system and control the system both proactively and reactively. To ensure the system is working correctly and to report and record any maintenance issues. To respond effectively to incidents on-going. To maintain the daily occurrence incident logs. To liaise with the Police, Newquay and St. Austell Town Shopwatch and Pubwatch groups via telephone and/or radio. To deal with requests for evidence and interrogate the system to produce evidential packages where required.

Interviews for shortlisted applicants are likely to be held during the week commencing 04 January 2021.
