Newquay Town Council has a vacancy for Full Time Facilities Manager. Part of this role is ensuring the Public Toilets around Newquay are safe, clean and fit for the level of usage. Newquay Town Council owns and/or is directly responsible for the operation and management of 13 sets of toilets in Newquay and sees them as key assets which need to showcase the Town not just to residents, but to visitors alike. The role will also be responsible for the effective and efficient management of all Town Council owned and managed buildings/assets and ensuring that there is a regular programme in place for inspections and preventative maintenance. This will be a varied and demanding role and require excellent organisational skills and relevant sector knowledge.
The post holder will be 37 hours a week Monday to Sunday involving working Bank/Public holidays where the service demands.
