Newquay Town Council has a vacancy for an enthusiastic, efficient and professional Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative, based within the Town Council Offices on a full time 37 hour a week contract.
A new role to the organisation you will be responsible for:
- To ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standard.
- Work with other members of the Facilities team and acting on any requests for repair and maintenance.
- Being able to work as part of a team.
- Compliance with all health & safety, company and legislative policies.
You will be working within the busy Facilities Service and will need to be organise and prioritise jobs accordingly. The successful candidate will need to be adaptable given the reactive nature of the role but equally able to plan proactive, preventative maintenance work. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in a similar role. The role will be working on a rota including evening and weekend work.
Whilst the position is ideally full-time the Council can be flexible and is open to candidates applying for part-time hours.
