The Environment Service is directly responsible for;
- The Killacourt
- Marcus Hill & Library grounds
- Concrete Waves Skatepark
- Gannel Car Park and a parcel of land in the Gannel area
- Priory Woods
- Open Space on Crantock Street (not the residential gardens)
- Mount Wise Centre
- Doorstep Green
- South Fistral Car Park
- Trencreek Allotments
- Polwhele Permaculture Garden
- Hanging Baskets
The service undertakes the following supplementary tasks;
- Supplemental Litter and Weed Control.
- Maintain furniture, benches, etc
- Hedge trimming
- Introduction of new planting and flower beds
- Additional Maintenance of a select number of Footpaths;
The Environment Service also responds to issues/concerns raised by the Public and Councillors. This can cover all manner of Environment related issues;
- Grass/hedge cutting
- Rubbish/fly tipping removal
- Graffiti/Sticker removal
- Bench refurbishment
