This Committee has delegated responsibility for areas of the Environment which Newquay Town Council owns or manages on behalf of others. Areas include; the Killacourt, Marcus Hill & Library estate, Priory Woods, Allotments at Trencreek and Mount Wise, land at Polwhele Road and areas of the Gannel to name but a few. Other areas of the Environment the Committee is responsible for are weed control of specified Highways in Newquay and maintenance of a number of footpaths.

The landmark Newquay asset, Concrete Waves skatepark, falls under the remit of this Committee. It was responsible for the project from its inception to eventual development and now ensures it is maintained and safe for all users of the park.

This committee works in partnership with Newquay in Bloom who enters Newquay into the South West in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions.
