What is Full Council’s Role?
Full Council meets once a month to discuss and debate matters arising from the Sub-Committees. It also tackles concerns or issues raised from residents and visitors to the Town and will occasionally assign a Committee to investigate in further detail.
Whilst a lot of decision making is delegated to sub-committees, Full Council is still primarily responsible for the more important, key decisions which would affect the Town as a whole.
The Council employs over 40 staff, who work to deliver the Town Council services.
