Newquay Town Council has been offered a ‘Newquay Surf Statue’ to celebrate the home of surfing in the UK. The Council has been approached to take on the maintenance and insurance responsibilities for a statue that would be donated to the Town.
However, the Council wishes to consult residents on whether you think this is a good idea and where you would prefer to see something like this erected, should it go ahead.
